The championship showdown between Karasuno High and Shiratorizawa continues to heat up with the crows gaining a little bit of momentum after finally figuring out how to defend Wakatoshi Ushijima.
Episode 4: Halo Around the Moon - Synopsis:
In an evenly played set, Karasuno and Shiratorizawa are engaging in a technical battle where defensive strategies and offensive schemes are equally important.
Things to Watch Out:
Karasuno's Mobbing Defense - After several attempts to stop Shiratorizawa's Eagle Ace, Karasuno finally came through a total defense against Ushijima. With Tsukishima setting the timing for the block and the super libero Nishinoya waiting along the sideline, Karasuno somehow found a way to contain Ushijima's offensive onslaught.
However, Karasuno is very much aware that Shiratorizawa remains dangerous with the kind of firepower they possess.
Dump-Shot Duel - Shiratorizawa's setter Kenjiru Shirabu finally showcased what he can do on the court other than tossing to their ace player. With the score tied 23-all in the second set, Shirabu tricked everyone, including his teammate, by dumping the ball over to the other side of the net for the score.
Not to be outdone, Kageyama responded with a dump shot of his own to give Karasuno a 25-24 lead and a shot to grab the second set.
Pressure is Mounting - Slowly by surely, the other members of the Shiratorizawa's squad are showing up in the game. After Shirabu's wonderful dumpshot, Leon Ohira also made his presence felt in the match by scoring off the block.
Karasuno head coach Keishin Ukai is also feeling the heat, realizing that scoring consecutive points is a lot harder at this stage of the set. Karasuno's unforced errors are also pilling up and that's preventing them from wrapping up the set.
