Wedding rumors abound "The Voice" judges Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Reports say the couple is planning to tie the knot by the end of this year, and that they are planning to adopt children.
An insider revealed that Stefani (46) and Shelton (40) are planning to get married before the end of the year, although they haven't told their families of the final date. "They are both very, very happy," a Shelton insider tells Us Weekly. "Blake is having the time of his life with Gwen and feels so comfortable around her."
In August this year, the couple was rumored to be engaged. A source told People that although they are not yet engaged, all of their close friends and family are "expecting it to happen at some point."
The source added that Stefani is "very, very happy with Blake" and the singer constantly "acts giddy when she talks about Blake." Furthermore, the source confirmed that the relationship is serious.
Stefani was previously married to ex Gavin Rossdale for 13 years before filing for divorce in August 2016. Shelton, on the other hand, was married to Mirandra Lambert for four years prior to their split in July 2015.
"Gwen has said they both want something more low-key than their first weddings," another insider reveals. "It would likely be at Blake's ranch [in Oklahoma] or in the backyard. Gwen doesn't really care, she is just in love with Blake and their life together."
Interestingly, there are also rumors of Stefani and Shelton planning to adopt a baby girl in their family, if she fails to get pregnant. It is also said that Stefani has considered in-vitro fertilization in the hopes of conceiving a baby girl. Stefani already has three sons with Rossdale, namely Kingston, Zuma and Apollo.
An insider reveals that the couple might adopt a baby or a toddler. The important thing is that they add a little girl to their family by 2017.
Stefani and Shelton both met on "The Voice" where she was a judge for Seasons 7 and 9. Although Stefani is currently on part of the judges panel in Season 11, she will return as a judge on "The Voice" Season 12.
