When 2015 ended, former Glee star Mark Salling was arrested on child pornography charges. With two months left before 2016 ends, Salling is once more in hot water over charges by a 22-year-old woman that the actor allegedly raped her.
The woman, who was dating the actor sometime in 2012, claims they went into a room to have sex but she changed her mind. However, even if after she told him about changing her mind, Salling still allegedly forced himself on the woman, New York Daily News reported.
The Los Angeles District Attorney is reviewing the allegations if it would file rape charges, TMZ reported. The complainant filed the report in April, but the D.A. is still reviewing the case.
For the child porn case, the 34-year-old actor was arrested in December 2015 after authorities confiscated a laptop, hard drive and USB driver with thousands of images and videos from Salling’s LA home.
In May, Salling was indicted on child-porn charges and because of the case, he was booted from the cast of “Adi Shankar’s Gods ad Secrets.” On Nov. 7, there would be a status conference on Salling’s case, but not trial date has been set yet.
In 2013, another woman filed a lawsuit against Salling – Noah “Puck” Puckerman in “Glee” – for forcing unprotected sex. Although she agreed to have protected sex with the actor, he did not use a condom as agreed. Salling paid her over $2.7 million in 2015 in an out-of-court settlement.
