Are they or aren't they? "The Amazing Spider-Man" co-stars Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have once again reignited dating rumors after they were spotted in hanging out in London in August this year.
Stone and Garfield were spotted together in London's Covent Garden back in August. According to The Daily Mail, the former couple looks closer than ever and was even photographed smiling and talking as they walked.
A source told E! News that there is still definitely some love between Stone and Garfield. "They remain close and are on good terms," the source added.
Interestingly, the "La La Land" actress herself that life has been both ups and downs after the split. "It's been interesting," Stone told Vogue. "It's been a good year. And sad. Pros and cons." She also said that Garfield is someone she still loves very much.
Stone and Garfield, known collectively by their fans as "Stonefield," broke up in 2015 after four years of dating. They first got together while filming "The Amazing Spider-Man," where they played love birds Peter Parker and Gwen Stacey. A source said their busy schedules are to blame for their breakup. "They have been really busy, so they finally have had time to see each other again. They care for each other and always have the best time when together," the source said.
Around the time of their split, Garfield was in Taiwan filming the highly-anticipated Martin Scorsese film called "Silence." A source close to the situation said the 33-year-old British actor was in a "dark place for months, getting into his role," which also factored into the breakup.
Scorsese's "Silence" has since been receiving Oscar buzz, even though it's still quite early to make predictions for awards season. Garfield stars with Liam Neeson and Adam Driver in "Silence."
The same Oscar-worthy note could also be said for Stone's "La La Land," which received praise at this year's Sundance Film Festival. The musical comedy also stars Ryan Gosling.
This year, Garfield was rumored to be flirting with actress Dakota Johnson, his co-star in the film "Under The Silver Lake." Neither camp has commented on the issue.
