NBC's new TV series "This Is Us" is sweeping the nation by storm with heart-wrenching episodes each week.
Last week, fans finally knew that the beloved father of the "Big Three," Jack, is dead at the present. His ashes are with his daughter, Kate. Once again, the fourth episode did not fail to make viewers shed tears. It showed the life of Rebecca and Jack before the triplets. Rebecca does not like to have kids at first. This could be the reason why she tries so hard to take care of the triplets, because she feels guilty.
Theories emerged saying that Jack probably succumbed to his alcoholism and that his cause of death is related to his drinking problem. In the second episode, the two had a big fight because of his drinking problem. While Jack promised Rebecca that he will be a "12" for her and the kids, alcohol is an enemy that is hard to beat and Jack may have fallen back to his bad habit that could be the cause of his death.
The third episode showed an aging Rebecca (Mandy Moore) in a surprise visit to Randall's (Sterling K. Brown) home with Jack's bestfriend, Miguel. The pair is on their way to New York to watch the Broadway production of "Hamilton". It is implied that Miguel and Rebecca are together.
"This Is Us" is created and directed by Dan Fogelman. The pilot received rave reviews from critics and viewers and the series was picked up for a whole season just hours after its pilot. The show stars Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, and Sterling K. Brown.
"This Is Us" will make you bawl your eyes out every Tuesday, 9/8c.
