After Larcade appeared in the last chapter, it is expected that more of the character's history will be revealed in chapter 509. Rumors are rife that in the upcoming chapter, Larcade will be revealed as Zeref and Mavis' son. In addition, because of Larcade's enormous power, Kagura will be needing reinforcements to defeat the former.
In chapter 508 of "Fairy Tail," guild members experienced the wrath of Larcade when the latter casted his "Pleasure" magic. Majority of the "Fairy Tail" were affected by the spell, but only those with impure hearts which experienced some sort of sexual satisfaction in the past were affected. Aside from pleasure, victims of Larcade's incantation also experienced agony.
Meanwhile, fans over at Manga Trip shared their respective predictions for chapter 509. Since Larcade revealed he is the son of Zeref, followers are guessing he could be the fruit of Zeref and Mavis' relationship in the past. On the other hand, some fans believe when Larcade pertained to Zeref as his father, he meant that the latter is his creator.
Dresrosa in his YouTube video gave two angles for Larcade and Zeref's father-son relationship. In the clip, he discussed that it may be both possible and impossible for Zeref to impregnate Mavis.
First, Zeref only managed to kiss Mavis in the past because of the curse he possesses. For Mavis to have been pregnant with Zeref's child, Dresrosa said that both mages could have acquired the same type of curse which does not affect the couple when they join bodies.
On the other hand, some fans believe that Larcade is merely a creation of Zeref and not literally his own son who entered into some woman's womb to come into the Earth. As for Larcade and Kagura's fight, the remaining "Fairy Tail" guild members who were not affected of the former's attack are expected to help Kagura defeat Larcade.
Since Irene and Ezra's encounter was not continued in the previous chapter, it is also expected a portion of their battle will be featured in chapter 509. For other predictions about "Fairy Tail," watch the video clip below.
