Bournemouth has been mercurial lately as the team has two wins, two losses, and two draws in their last six outings. They are presently settled in the middle of the overall standings, at the 10th spot, as they are tied on points with reigning champions Leicester City and Stoke City but has the superior goal difference among the three clubs.

The Cherries are coming off an embarrassing 0-2 defeat in the hands of newly-promoted side Middlesbrough on the road at the Riverside Stadium last Saturday for their second straight winless performance, as per BBC Sport.

Head coach Eddie Howe's squad were unable to score a single goal throughout the match while conceding two to the Boro with midfielders Gaston Ramirez and Stewart Downing netting one each in the 39th and 56th minutes.

Bournemouth tried to pull off a comeback in the second half, but they went down to a 10-man squad after the injury on Andrew Surman. Howe had already made his three substitutions prior so the team was not allowed to field in an 11th player.

Meanwhile, Sunderland is still winless after 10 rounds of Premier League competitions to settle at the bottommost spot in the league table with only two points.

The Black Cats were crushed by Arsenal, 1-4, in their last match held last Saturday at their own home ground of Stadium of Light, Fox Sports reported.

Arsenal forwards Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud both scored braces to lead the visitors' romp while Sunderland had one goal from striker Jermain Defoe with a penalty kick in the 65th minute as a consolation.
