Defending champions and current league leaders FC Bayern Munich (7-0-2, 23 points) are scheduled to meet surprise team TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (5-0-4, 19 points) in a 2016-2017 Bundesliga season encounter on Nov. 5, Saturday at the Allianz Arena.

Polish striker Robert Lewandowski scored a brace to lead head coach Carlo Ancelotti's men, sandwiching the goal of Dutch midfielder Arjen Robben to complete the team's three-goal haul.
Lewandowski opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a left-footed shot from the center of the box with the assist coming from Robben. Robben then doubled the lead just two minutes later with his own close-range left-footer as Lewandowski returned the favor with a cross.
The Poland national team captain then netted his second goal of the game in the 48th minute to give the defending champs a 3-0 lead.
South Korean winger Koo Ja-cheol scored a consolation goal for Augsburg in the 67th minute as he helped his team avoid a shutout.
Meanwhile, Hoffenheim gained its fifth consecutive win after nipping contending squad Hertha Berlin, 1-0, at their home ground of Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena last Sunday, via Sporting Life.
Defender Niklas Sule provided the winning goal for head coach Julian Nagelsmann's side as the team is now at the third spot of the league table, surprising the rest of the league with their recent performances.
Bayern is still the overwhelming favorite to win this match in their home arena, however, as Ancelotti's boys were hardly challenged so far after nine rounds of competitions.
