Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has unveiled three new smartphones on Nov. 4. These models come from the very popular Redmi family - Redmi 4A, Redmi 4 Standard, and Redmi 4 Pro.
All these stunning smartphones are powered with Android Marshmallow operating system and flaunt a 5-inch screen display with uni-body metal construction. All of these models are from mid-range price category, Android Police reported.
You can have a look at the specifications offered by each model. First, the Redmi 4A sports a metal body, a 5" IPS 720p display and Snapdragon SoC paired with 2GB Ram and 16GB expandable memory. This beauty features a 13MP rear and 5MP front camera. It incorporates a 3120 mAh battery. Cost of the Redmi 4A will be around $74.
Redmi 4 Standard edition also features a 5" IPS 720p display, but with more advanced 2.5D glass. Snapdragon 430 SoC and Adreno 505 GPU pushed up the power of this phone slightly over the Redmi 4A variant. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable memory. Front camera is just like the Redmi 4A but 13MP rear camera offers phase-detection autofocus and dual LED flash. It features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and battery grows a bit with 4100 mAh power capacity. The model is available in gold, rose gold and dark grey and costs approximately $104. Pre-ordering of the phone is live and it will be available for sale from Nov. 7.
The Redmi 4 Pro is the most expensive one of the lot. It sports a 5" 1080p display with uni-body design. It hosts many attractive specifications including 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable memory, Snapdragon 625 (2GHz Octa Core) and Adreno 506 GPU. Camera specification of the phone is similar to that of Redmi 4 Standard, except the rear camera with dual-tone dual-LED flash. The phone costs around $133 and purchase will be available from Nov. 7.
Xiaomi is planning to launch the Redmi 4 series in India too without much delay, Digit pointed out.
