"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 recently saw Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) telling her husband Owen (Kevin McKidd) that she doesn't want to have children.
Some fans were surprised by her statement, but others who watched "Private Practice" have an idea why this is so. According to TV Guide, Amelia lost her child with her ex-partner in the "Grey's Anatomy" spinoff starring Kate Walsh. To add to the drama, Amelia's child's death turned out to be even more painful because of Amelia's possible contribution to it.
Those fans who have not seen "Private Practice" now have the chance to revisit the show because it is showing on Netflix and Hulu. Additionally, it's highly possible that Amelia and Owen will once again have a conversation about not having children because the latter really wants to have one.
Previously, Owen got his wife Cristina (Sandra Oh) pregnant, but the latter wasn't also ready to be a mother so she decided to have their child aborted. At that time, Owen opposed Cristina's idea, but she was still the one who decided in the end. This time around, Owen will go through an emotional rollercoaster ride considering he and Amelia just got married, and it's possible that he will never have a child with his current wife.
Meanwhile, "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, episode 8 entitled, "The Room Where It Happens" will feature a critical surgery that is to be done by Meredith (Ellen Pompeo). The situation will remind the lead character of some tragic events that took place in the past. By the looks of it, this has something to do with Derek's (Patrick Dempsey) demise. Meredith will also receive help from Owen, Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) and Richard (James Pickens Jr.).
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, episode 8 will air on ABC on Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. ET.
