The latest details and spoilers for "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will feature Donald Glover's possible character and a new image of Adrian Toomes/The Vulture leaked online.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding "The Community" star Donald Glover's role in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" since he was cast as part of the film. A list of characters in the Spider-Man mythos have been hinted for in the film for Glover to take on.
First of these characters could be Hobbie Brown, who in the comics is teenage genius and takes the costumed identity of The Prowler. Originally Hobbie used The Prowler persona to commit several crimes and had encounters with Spider-Man, but had a change of heart and has offered help from Spidey in making New York a safer place against crime.
Another potential character that Glover could play in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is Robbie Robertson, J. Jonah Jameson's co-editor at the Daily Bugle. Unlike Jameson, Robbie sees the web-slinger as hero and often had disagreements with the latter due Jonah's claims of Spider-Man being a menace.
Other potential characters include Horizon's Lab employee Max Modell and Ultimate Spider-Man Miles Morales, who has been consistent for Glover ever since he announced that he would like to play Spider-Man in future films, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
In other news, a new image of Adrian Toomes/The Vulture for "Spider-Man: Homecoming" has been leaked online.
Reddit user posted the concept art of The Vulture's costume in the film, which looks similar to the one Marvel released several months back, with only minor changes.
It is rumored that "Birdman" star Michael Keaton is cast to play The Vulture and his outfit will be based on Chitauri technology that was smuggled during the Avengers battle in New York.
The Tinkerer (Michael Chernus) will be responsible for making Adrian's suite and will likely attack Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) during the latters homecoming dance at his school.
It is hinted that two of Peter's deadly enemies are teased to appear in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and these characters are Norman Osborn/Green Goblin and Eddie Brock/Venom, Schmoes Know reported.
In addition, there is also a non-powered character who is dating Peter's aunt, May Parker (Marisa Tomei) and he is played by Logan Marshall-Green. The two will likely butt-heads due to the fact that Green tries to connect to Peter, while the latter does not approve of him trying to be a father like figure.
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be release on July 7, 2017.
