Robert Pattinson has seemingly started preparations for next Twilight sequel. The actor was seen on the red carpet of GO Campaign Gala in Los Angeles on Nov. 5, Saturday, flaunting his new deep, dark brown hairdo, which led to the speculation that the actor is reprising his role of Edward Cullen in a new Twilight movie.
Pattinson looked extra broody at the event as he showed off his new deep, dark brown hairdo on the rep carpet. His gelled-up hair in a nice dark quiff that paired well with his fair skin and a two-piece navy blue suit reminded the fans of his popular on-screen character.
The romantic saga of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) ended with the final movie of the popular series, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2." Although the franchise ended its five-year-old blockbuster journey in 2012, the actor's recent public appearance has triggered the speculation amongst his fans that he is set to reprise his role once again.
The "Twilight" movie series starring the 30-year-old actor and Stewart became a worldwide phenomenon after the first film was released in 2008. However, it now seems that the love story of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen might not be over yet. The actor's new look has come a month after co-chairman of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, Patrick Wachsberger, teased the possibility of a sequel in the fantasy series based on Stephenie Meyer's popular novel of the same name.
"It's a possibility," Wachsberger told Screen Daily. "Not a certainty, but it's a possibility. It's about Stephenie [Meyer]. If she wants to tell a story related to those characters we're here for her."
The stars of the franchise have also professed themselves open to further installments of the hit fantasy movie series. While Stewart earlier declared publicly that she would be interested in a sequel, the actor appeared more circumspect.
"I'd be curious what Stephenie would write, but I think I'd probably be too old," The Guardian quoted the actor as saying. "I'm already too old."
