"House of Cards", Season 3 is the much-awaited show and the last two explosive seasons have made sure that the expectations from this one are as high as possible.
In the first episode of the new season we see that the protagonist Frank Underwood is already half a year into his presidency and he makes a very memorable pilgrimage to his father's grave, never mind the fact that he loathes his father to the hilt. To further his point of loathing, he also urinates on the headstone despite maintaining a sense of respect for his father in front of the public.
In typical "House of Cards" fashion, the fans learn that all this while Doug Stamper has been alive all this while after being brutally knocked on the head by Rachael. In the last season, it was presumed that he was dead, the way he was left to bleed out in the wild by the revengeful Rachel. However, Doug was rescued and he was in a coma all the while, the fans come to know eventually. Even though Doug's loyalty to Underwood has always been legendary, but Underwood is cold with him as he was physically and mentally affected by the whole episode of almost being beaten to death.
Meanwhile on the other hand, the other half of the Underwood couple - Claire is now an ambassador to the UN but she isn't as suave and composed as she expected herself to be, as per reports by Telegraph.
VanityFair suggests that the new president might even be gay! So, is it the start of the end for the power hungry couple composed of Claire Underwood and Frank Underwood or in typical "House of Cards" fashion, there is more to what meets the eye!
