The trailer for the third season of "House of Cards" was released at the recently conclued Golden Globe Awards 2015. The timing of the release was just perfect with the trailer hitting the screen just after the lead Kevin Spacey was handed his Golden Globe for the Best Actor in a Drama Series for the second season of "House of Cards."
Netflix has left no stone unturned to make it a really edgy trailer for the millions of fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of the third season of the series which was initially signed on for just a two season run, but got an extension due to its immense popularity and viewership.
The trailer shows Frank Underwood sitting in his oval office because obviously he is the President of the United States now and he says in a chilling tone all about real courage and that it is important to hold it together when the stakes are high.
If this is not enough to give the audiences a chill run down their spine, the trailer also shows enough footage of the dynamic Claire Underwood too, smoking a cigarette, gazing out of a window, jogging and having a thoughtful expression at times. When asked by her about them being "murderers", Frank coldly corrects her saying that they are not "murderers" but "survivors." These chilling words and the background score will leave the audience wanting for more.
It is pretty tough to wait until Feb. 27 for the third season to be premiered on Netflix. Nonetheless, watching the trailer is oddly satisfying at the moment. The trailer is available for watching here:
