The latest details for "Final Fantasy 7" remake will likely feature a PSX 2016 appearance, PS4 Pro and Nintendo Switch versions and possible playable characters.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding "Final Fantasy 7" remake coming to the new game consoles; the PlayStation 4 Pro and the Nintendo Switch.
Reddit username central_void claimed that the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will likely be ported to the new consoles, which will probably push back the game's launch next year. However, game director Tetsuya Nomura pointed out in an interview that they have no plans yet regarding "FFVII" remake in other gaming platforms.
Square Enix will have an appearance at the PlayStation Experience event on Dec. 3-4 inside the Anaheim Convention Center located in Anaheim, CA as eager gamers will await for more information of "Final Fantasy 7" remake very soon, Neurgadget reported.
If not, there is still a chance for gamers to know more about "Final Fantasy 7" remake as Nomura will also be at the Monaco Anime Game International Conferences 2017 (MAGIC) event on on Feb.19, 2017 as he will announce game details for both "FFVII" remake and "Kingdom Hearts 3".
In other news, it seems that more characters from "FFVII" will be joining the remake title soon.
Past trailers of "Final Fantasy 7" remake featured Cloud Strife and Barret Wallace as playable character in a more action-oriented gameplay rather than the standard turn base RPG.
Square Enix will be introducing a very different battle system for "Final Fantasy 7" remake compared to the original game. Nomura and his team are currently in the middle of elevating various aspects up to finished quality, Siliconera reported.
"Final Fantasy 7" remake will have a more action-based gameplay rather than the Active Time Battle system incorporated in the original "FFVII". Nomura explained that he has heard several request from gaming fans to add the ATB style in the remake, but Nomura believes he has found the perfect gameplay system. Nomura cited "Dissidia" is the perfect example for "Final Fantasy 7" remake.
However, Nomura assure gaming fans who are not used to the action-oriented gameplay will have a feature that will help them keep up with the remake's gameplay.
So gamers will likely expect characters like Aerith Gainsborough, Tifa Lockhart, Cid Highwind, Vincent Valentine and many more within "Final Fantasy 7" remake soon.
The are also speculations that "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be divided into three parts similar to "Final Fantasy XIII". Square Enix producer Yohinori Kitase added that each part of the remake will be a full-scale game as every installment may tell the story from a different perspective.
"Final Fantasy 7" remake is speculated to launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4 console as it marks the 20th Anniversary of the game.
