Everyone is looking forward to what "Stranger Things" Season 2 has in store for the viewers. Just recently, the networking giant gave fans a taste of what the second series from The Duffer Brothers would look like through casting and its initial table read.
After garnering the title Netflix's summer sensation, it is just natural to witness how fans are craving for more "Stranger Things" Season 2 spoilers. Here are 5 things that you should know about the hit Netflix show featuring Winona Ryder and Millie Bobby Brown.
#1 "Stranger Things" Season 2 cast
Netflix horror thriller is adding big names such as Sean Astin, Paul Reiser and Linnea Berthelsen in the cast. Astin will play Bob Newby, Reiser will play Dr. Owens and Berthelsen will be Roman in the second run of the series. The three newcomers will be joining the first set of new cast for the sophomore season, including Sadie Sink as Max and Dacre Montgomery as Billy.
"There's definitely a handful of really compelling new characters this season, executive producer Shawn Levy told The Hollywood Reporter. But absolutely servicing the core group first and foremost. Like the show itself, it's multigenerational new characters and really, really intriguing ones."

The air date for the second run is not yet announced, but it is expected that it will be shown not later than July 2017.
#3 "Stranger Things" Season 2 trailer
There is not much detail revealed of the upcoming Season 2 on the new trailer, except that it confirmed that the new season is indeed on the horizons. The titles of the 9 episodes of Season 2 are shown that include: "Madmax," "The Boy Who Came Back To Life," "The Pumpkin Patch," "The Palace," "The Storm," "The Pollywog," "The Secret Cabin," "The Brain" and "The Lost Brother."
#4 "Stranger Things" Season 2 spoilers
As per Matt Duffer, the next chapter is more of a "sequel" than a "second season." In an interview with Slashfilm, producer Shawn Levy said that they planning to continue the regular characters and incorporate some critical roles in the new season.
Although big mysteries were mostly resolved in Season 1, Levy assured that there are still new predicaments that would be arising from the initial season that are carried over to the new one. One of the things that viewers are talking about is whether Eleven is alive or not, and this will be resolved when he new season returns.
#5 "Stranger Things" Season 2 filming
The shooting of the Netflix TV series with an 80s-centric setting began on Nov. 7, Monday in Atlanta. Levy confirmed that Netflix has given him and the Duffer brothers the green light for the Season 2 before it was officially announced.
