Thanksgiving 2016 is just two weeks away, and GameStop will be offering several Black Friday deals from the national holiday to the end of the weekend. GameStop's brick-and-mortar stores across the United States will open at 5 a.m. on Friday after Turkey Day. The retail giant is offering price cuts on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gaming consoles and video games.
BFAds.net posted the Black Friday ad. The specials and price discounts will start on Thanksgiving Day and end on November 27.
Xbox One
GameStop is offering a $50 discount on all new Xbox One consoles. That includes the 1 TB Xbox One S bundle with "Gears of War 4" with a price reduction from $350 to $300. The game's price is being dropped one-quarter to $35.
Next, the Texas-based retailer is also offering $10 discounts on Xbox Live Gold subscription cards. Three-month cards will cost $15 and the six-month cards will cost $30.
Microsoft's JD Fenix Limited Edition "Gears of War 4" controller is also getting a $20 cheaper price of $55.
PlayStation 4
GameStop is offering the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" bundle for the PS4 500 GB "slim" only on Black Friday for $250 ($50 off). It includes either "The Last of Us Remastered" or "Ratchet & Clank."
The DualShock 4 controller will be offered exclusively at Game Stop starting November 21 for $65. However, the Black Friday deals also include a $20 price discount on the standard black DualShock 4 to $40. Other designs including the red and urban camouflage gamepads are getting a $20 price cut to $45.
The consumer electronics and wireless retailer is also offering some exclusive PS4 games for the holiday event. They include "World of Final Fantasy," "Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration," and "Dragon Quest Builders," according to Polygon. They are getting a one-third discount from $60 to $40.
Some games will get stupendous price slashes of 50 percent off. They include "The Last of Us Remastered" and "Ratchet & Clank" discounted to $10, and "No Man's Sky" getting a $20 price tag.
Nintendo
GameStop is not offering any big deals on Nintendo consoles including Wii U and 3DS.
In related news, a Black Friday ad for Best Buy shows discounts on a Windows laptop and Apple tablets. The retail giant is offering a $125 discount on the base iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro. It is also advertising $100 off on the Lenovo 100S notebook, according to ZDNet.
Best Buy is also offering price cuts on Apple laptops including some MacBooks and two MacBook Air models.
