The death hoax that hit musician Eminem in early November has caused a delay in the official release of his ninth album “Success.” There is a rumor circulating that he would launch it on Jan. 25, 2017.
Australianetworknews reported that to keep fans calm, Eminem released a seven-minute, 47-second diss track on Oct. 19 hitting then Republic candidate – now president-elect – Donald Trump. Since Trump’s victory has caused some of his critics to be silent, there are now questions how it would affect his ninth album.
The rapper has been hit by a death hoax for several months now, but on Nov. 6, a “R.I.P. Eminem” Facebook page, which seems legitimate and has garnered more than 1 million likes, caused many people to believe the news that “The Real Slim Shady” rapper died. The post stated that Eminem died at about 11 a.m. that day. It asked followers of the page to express their sympathy and condolences to the rapper – Marshall Mathers in real life – by liking and commenting the page.
Besides the death hoax, a 19-year-old girl, Haley, claimed at “The Dr Phil Show” that she is pregnant with Jesus but is convinced Eminem is her father, Hall of Fame Magazine reported. Although the teen wants to have a DNA test and called on Eminem to undergo the procedure, Kristi, the mother of Haley, denied her daughter’s claim since the 19-year-old is a compulsive liar.
However, Sportsrageous raised the possibility that the rapper did not delay the release of “Success,” rather, Eminem is allegedly using the death hoax to promote his ninth album in the light of his anti-Trump stand which could boomerang on him.
There are reports that other artists, such as Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar and Juicy J., are included in Eminem’s “Success” album.
