Tagged as the well-known and credible ROM developer, CyanogenMod developers announced the Android 7.1 Nougat CM 14.1 series firmware to selected devices. The listing of handsets was published by the CyanogenMod community founder in their official blog site.
The developers, who have been actively working on the CM updates based on the latest Android version, released the CyanogenMod 14.1 Nightly Build on Nov. 8. HNGN reported that the nightly build features are yet to come, while users could expect a safe installation on the custom ROM as the update has undergone many tests and assurance of no major bugs has been reported.
As per NDTV, CyanogenMod 14.1 nightly build is available for the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Xiaomi Mi 3, Xiaomi Mi 4, LG G3, Moto G variants, LG G4, Samsung Galaxy S5, OnePlus 3, and ZenFone 2 users.
"More devices will be added to the list over the coming weeks and maintainers bring everything up to date, so if you don't see your device listed here just give us a bit of time," Steve Kondik said in a statement.
According to the custom ROM developer, the nightly build is currently not in a stable mode as it is in beta version. However, CyanogenMod community founder promises that the future updates will include a more stable system and bugs fixes.

CyanogenMod 14.1 signature that is based on Android 7.1 Nougat source files includes features like themes, custom dpi, multi-window mode, better battery management. The latest Android OS also has a considerably better performance from UI and notification orders, battery saving mode and Doze on the Go, an improved version from the older Doze in Marshmallow.
