Becky Lynch is currently the SmackDown Women's champion and the top babyface in the women's division of the blue brand. However, the latest rumors imply that Lynch might turn heel soon, especially if she feuds with Nikki Bella next year.
In a recent interview with Games Radar last week, The Lass Kicker revealed that she wants to turn heel to swerve the fans. He also mentioned that she would love to have a feud with her fellow horsewoman, Bayley in the future.
"Oh, 100 per cent. And [I'll do it] when people least expect it! Mostly for social media: Twitter or Instagram becomes so much more fun when you can be boastful and say whatever you want. You can be so full of yourself and ridiculous when you're a heel," Lynch said.
"And if I'm ever going to feud with Bayley again, you couldn't have her be the heel. Actually, I would love to see Bayley heel, though. Wouldn't that be funny? What would she do? Kick puppies? I don't know," she added.
However, it should be pointed out that Bayley is currently a member of Monday Night Raw and feud with her at the moment is very difficult to see. Also, Lynch is in the middle of a feud with Alexa Bliss and they are scheduled to face off for the SmackDown Women's title at the TLC pay-per-view in December.
Bliss has been very impressive as a heel against the champ during their entire feud but she might not be ready to carry the gold. However, she has been elevated despite losing her first crack at the champion and look for her to be more impressive in their next match.
According to Daily DDT, Nikki Bella might get booed once again due to her being named the captain of Team SmackDown for their 5-on-5 women's match against Team Raw at Survivor Series. Fans are also unhappy that Total Bellas is being promoted at SmackDown Live despite general manager Daniel Bryan being part of it.
One possible scenario to get some heat out of Nikki is to have her feud with Lynch for the SmackDown Live title with the champ being the heel. It would be hard for fans to accept Nikki as a face and Becky as a heel but it is certainly possible.
Nevertheless, these are just purely speculative at this point and plans tend to change in the WWE quite often. Check out the video below to see some of the highlights of the Lynch vs. Bliss match for the SmackDown Women's champion last week.
