The latest details for "Grand Theft Auto 5" will feature new DLC updates in "GTA Online" and three cities added in the game's expansion plans.
Rockstar Games announced new DLC updates for "GTA Online" this week as gamers can now have their hands on the new Pegassi Esskey, Shotaro Bike and the "Deadline" adversary mode. The Pegassi Esskey is based on the Scrambler bodystyle and looks set to launch on Tuesday, Nov.15.
Several reports claim that it could also be introduced alongside the Kill Quota Adversary Mode, although Rockstar may be saving that for later in their launch cycle.
The Shotaro bikes in "GTA Online are said to be inspired by Shotaro Kaneda who is the main protagonist of an acclaimed anime film, "Akira" and they are described as light cycles.
Lastly, "Deadline" adversary mode will have four players pitting against one another, while riding Shotaro bikes, which emits a temporary light trail. These light trails will cause players who come across it to explode instantly. As such, it is advised that players make calculated moves in order for their competitors to come in contact with their light trails.
In addition, gaming fans have speculated that a new "Grand Theft Auto" in-game cash bonus will given to the players in the new DLC update. Although, it is unclear if the cash bonus could be linked to any "GTA Online" achievement or ranking, Express UK reported.
Meanwhile, rumors are making rounds regarding new cities being added for "Grand Theft Auto 5" in Rockstar Game's expansion plans next year and beyond.
Four cities in the "GTA" mythos will be added to "GTA Online" with updated looks. These cities are San Fierro, Las Venturas, Vice City and Liberty City
Liberty City is the equivalent of New York and has been featured as the main setting in "Grand Theft Auto 3", "Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories" and "Grand Theft Auto 4". Vice City is based on Miami and it appeared in "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" and "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories", and also heavily rumored to be a setting in "GTA 6". Lastly, San Fierro and Las Venturas are part of the whole San Andreas setting in "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" as the game's version of San Francisco and Las Vegas.
The planned expansion was originally made for "Grand Theft Auto 5's" story mode, but was scrapped by Rockstar in favor of "GTA Online".
Username SOFTSECRETS claimed that these updates have been in production since the "Grand Theft Auto 5's" development, however, Rockstar had to be put off due to the limitations of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. If the rumor became true, then gamers could see a release of North Yankton (GTA's version of Canada) and Liberty City in the early months of 2017, Gamerant reported.
There are also speculations that "Grand Theft Auto 5" single player DLC is also said to be replaced with a new Online Map expansion model and pre order bonus of one million Casino chips are added into the game.
"Grand Theft Auto 5" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
