Lee Min Ho, Suzy Bae wedding may be delayed as Suzy is cast for a new drama opposite Lee Jong Suk.
The new drama is still in infancy stage with working title "While You Were Asleep". The drama is about a woman who can foresee unfortunate events in her dreams and a prosecutor who tries to stop the woman's dream from coming true, according to Soompi.
However, Asian Entertainment Industry Powerhouse, iHQ, said that Lee Jong Suk is the actor is officially confirmed for the show for now as the male lead. While Suzy is not yet confirmed for the role, she is the female lead considered for the role and negotiations are reportedly underway. Suzy's most recent drama "Uncontrollably Fond" opposite Lee Jong Suk's best friend Kim Woo Bin and ended in September.
If schedule permits, the reading and shooting of the drama will start soon and will be aired in 2017. Lee Jong Suk is currently working on Lotte's web drama "Six Kisses For The First Time" or "Six First Kisses," which is dubbed as Meteor Garden remake.
Rumors claimed will most likely happen in mid-2017 after Suzy's contract with JYP Entertainment expires. Suzy first signed in JYP on Apr. 10, 2010 and her seven-year contract will expire on Mar. 31, 2017 along with the remaining members of Miss A - Min and Fei. It is still unconfirmed whether the idol will renew her contract with the agency or sign in another label.
With Jia leaving the company, the future of Miss A hangs in the balance. With the success of TWICE and a rumored girl group next year, Miss A is put in the back burner and most likely to disband.
