North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is supposed to be a model for citizens of the communist to follow, such as his hairstyle, which Pyongyang ordered in November 2015. However, one thing the government would likely not require North Koreans to emulate is Kim’s weight gain.

Fox News reported that North Korea made an official report to China not to call the country’s leader fat. In particular, ministers cited the use of the term “Jin San Pang” for chunky Swiss cheese fan as “Kim Fatty III” in conversations or media.

It is a widely used nickname in China for the North Korean strongman as well as “Jin San Fei” which means “Kim Abundant III.” The ministers are pleading with China before Kim Jong Un finds out how Chinese refer to him which could possibly result in beheading for the government officials after he looks for someone to blame.

The reason behind Kim Jong Un’s weight gain in recent years is his love for Swiss cheese, scallops and whiskey.

Daily Mail reported it searched for the use of those words in Chinese social media but found none. The reason could be Chinese officials already censored the portals after a meeting between North Korean and Chinese officials, according to Hong Kong newspaper Apple Daily.

Obesity appears to be genetic in the leader’s family. Chinese netizens – who even came up with more funny nicknames for Kim Jong Un – pointed out that his father, Kim Jong-il, and grandfather, Kim Il-sung, also had weight problems when they were still alive.

Toronto Sun reported that Chinese netizens found a way to go around the ban on fat-shaming the North Korean leader. One netizen asked if Fatty III has been meddling in China’s internal affairs, while another said their next-door neighbor’s leader is not humorous, but his nickname Kim Fatty III sounds great.
