The latest details and spoilers for "Avengers: Infinity War" will feature Latveria in the film and Spider-Man appearing in "Avengers 4".
The Russo brothers posted on social media a new location tease for "Avengers: Infinity War" in the Durham Cathedral in the United Kingdom. The brothers quickly took out the photo, but a Reddit user was able to take the picture and many made some various and interesting speculations on it.
According to various sources, it is rumored that the location could be the nation of Latveria, a fictional country in Europe ruled by Victor Von Doom/ Doctor Doom, hence viewers and comic book fans might get to see the Marvel villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon, Flickering Myth reported.
The problem however, is that Doctor Doom is currently owned by 20th Century Fox as part of the "Fantastic Four" and theory is by definition is somewhat farfetched to others. But the good thing about it is that Fox and Marvel aren’t entirely averse to some character swapping since both companies have Quicksilver in the Avengers and X-Men films, and Doctor Doom has been known to fight other heroes in the Marvel Universe, not to mention the current person to wear the Iron Man name.
In other news, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" star Tom Holland has signed a deal with Marvel to appear in six different films; three are "Spider-Man" sequels and three appearances in other movies.
It has been reported that Holland will not likely appear in "Avengers: Infinity War" as he stated negotiations are "still up in the air" for him. However, Holland told The Hollywood Reporter that Spider-Man will be "the kid" in the MCU as he is dragged into the conflict that normally a child will be amazed by it, and seeing the likes of Thanos (Josh Brolin) may prove "too much" for Peter Parker to process, who is still grappling with great power and great responsibility.
Despite all of that, there is still a chance that Spider-Man will join Earth's Mightiest Heroes in "Avengers 4" as Thanos might bring the fight to earth. There are also rumors that Netflix superhero team The Defenders could be included in "Avengers: Infinity War" as Feige stated that one of the things which made "Infinity Gauntlet" good is that everybody in the Marvel Universe is trying to go up against Thanos whether they were god-like powers or not, because that is what Avengers do.
When asked if "everyone" could mean the inclusion of the Netflix heroes and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." series, Feige responded by saying "spoilers", indicating the possibility.
Film directors the Russo Brothers stated in an interview regarding the Marvel Netflix heroes in "Avengers: Infinity War" as Anthony Russo stated that they are considering everyone in the film and they wanted to surprise the audiences the best way they can.
"Avengers: Infinity War" is slated to be release on May 4, 2018, while the fourth film is scheduled on May 3, 2019.
