The latest details for "Persona 5" will feature new release date next year, game demo and free audio DLC coming to the sequel soon.
Atlus announced that "Persona 5's release date for the western regions has been delayed from its Feb. 14 2017 schedule to new launch date of April 4, 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Atlus representative John Hardin made the announcement on the offical PlayStation blog website and stated that gamers in the United States and other western regions will have something instore for them in the sequel.
According to Hardin, "Persona 5" will feature free audio DLC both in Japanese and in English. Atlus will make the game dual-audio at its launch.
All players will be able to download the Japanese audio files as free DLC after setting up their game. It will not be included on the disc, which may be frustrating to some who do not have a reliable internet connection, but having the option available and free should appease many patiently waiting Persona fans.
Although, Atlus did not explain as to whey they changed the launch date of "Persona 5" from February to April next year. Some speculated is due to the huge content that the game has during its developement stages and with that amount of workload, the developers have no choice but to delay it in order to satisfy gaming fans across the western regions, Gamerant reported.
Meanwhile, Atus will likely showcase a new game demo for "Persona 5" at this year's PlayStation Experience event, Engadget reported.
The Japanese developers added that they are also launching new contend for "Persona 5" during the "Persona" 20th Festival as lucky attendees will be receiving a new set of game contents for the sequel,
These DLCs include the "Persona" 20th Anniversary theme for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 console, "Persona" 20th Avatar set for the PS4 edition, "Persona" 20th Anniversary "Persona 5" logo which comes with Morgana Car sticker, and "Persona 5" Maid & Butler Costume set.
"Persona 4 Arena" and "Persona 4 Arena Ultimax" director Kazuhisa Wada teased gaming fans that there will be a "Persona 5: Arena" game in the works very soon. Wada stated that it is something that he wanted to incorporate in the future as he cited how Atlus made use of there effort to develop "Persona 5" and encourages the gaming fans to let them do it very soon.
"Persona 5" is currently available in Japan, while gamers will expect sequel on April 4, 2017 in North America for the PS4 and PS3 consoles.
