A 2016-2017 Serie A season Lombardy derby between AC Milan (8-3-1, 25 points) and Inter Milan (5-5-2, 17 points) is scheduled on Sunday, Nov. 20 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in San Siro.

AC Milan has been on a roll lately, winning five of their last six matches to end up in the third spot of the current Italian top flight table. The team has been unbeaten in eight of their last nine games.
In their most recent fixture, Milan nipped bottom three team Palermo, 2-1, in a game held before the international break on Nov. 6 at the Renzo Barbera Stadium, as per Sporting Life.
Head coach Vincenzo Montella's boys opened the scoring in the 15th minute of the match with a goal from attacking midfielder Suso.
Palermo found the equalizer in the 71st minute via a left-footed shot by Macedonian forward Ilija Nestorovski from the center of the box to the bottom left corner of Milan keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma's net.
I Rossoneri was able to score the winning goal in the 82nd minute, though, as substitute forward Gianluca Lapadula converted a close-range left-footer with the assist coming from Suso following a corner kick.
Meanwhile, Inter is starting to come alive with two wins in their last three outings following a three-game losing slide. They are currently settled in the ninth spot of the league table, eight points behind their cross-city rivals.
I Nerazzurri is coming off a hard-fought 3-0 rout of bottom-dwelling team Crotone also at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Nov. 6, Goal reported.
It was a goalless performance by both sides for most of the match until Croatian winger Ivan Perisic broke the deadlock in the 84th minute with a right-footer off an assist by team captain Mauro Icardi.
Icardi then scored the next two goals to complete the hosts' three-goal haul. The Argentine forward converted a spot kick in the 88th minute to double Inter's lead before sealing the game in stoppage time with a right-footed shot of his own, with the assist this time coming from Eder.
