"American Idol" season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson was forced to defend her weight after Katie Hopkins shamelessly called her fat. Clarkson had a baby almost a year ago and with the trend of new mothers shedding all the pregnancy and baby fat in weeks, she does seem to following her own trend of living happily with the weight, as per reports by Access Hollywood.
According to E Online, Hopkins, who is quite well known as the 'most hated woman in Britain' saw the singer on "The Graham Norton Show" and expressed surprise at the extra weight that she is still carrying. She immediately tweeted on the popular social networking the microblogging site Twitter that "Jesus, what happened to Kelly Clarkson? Did she eat all of her backing singers? Happily I have wide-screen. #grahamnorton".
The attack didn't stop there. It went on with another tweet, which poked ridicule at her defensive fans and said that, "Look chubsters, Kelly Clarkson had a baby a year ago. That is no longer baby weight. That is carrot cake weight. Get over yourselves."
However the Grammy winner and singer was unperturbed with the online attack as she does not follow the 40-year-old TV personality on Twitter. When Clarkson was informed about the nasty tweets then she didn't skip a beat and said that these things don't bother her one bit. She proclaimed that she is awesome and loves the way she is, as she doesn't give a damn about what other people think about her. She also added that Hopkins doesn't know her personally and that's why she is ridiculing her weight issues.
