Watford has been decent in their last six matches with three wins, two draws, and a loss. The team is currently in the eighth spot of the English top flight table, eight points above the bottom three relegation zone but six points below fifth-place team Tottenham Hotspur, who temporarily holds the last Europa League qualifying berth for next season.

The Hornets are coming off an impressive 2-1 win over defending champions Leicester City also at their home stadium of Vicarage Road last Saturday, as per Goal.

Watford scored two early goals, courtesy of French midfielder Etienne Capoue and Argentine winger Roberto Pereyra in the first and 12th minutes, to quickly build a two-point lead which proved to be enough to pull off the victory over the struggling Foxes.

Leicester City managed to trim the gap in the 15th minute with a penalty kick by Algerian midfielder Riyad Mahrez, but it was all the visitors could do to try a come-from-behind triumph.

Meanwhile, Stoke City dropped a sorry 0-1 game to Bournemouth at their own home field of Bet365 Stadium also last Saturday, Daily Mail Online reported.

Dutch defender Nathan Ake netted the lone goal of the contest in the 26th minute to hand head coach Mark Hughes' squad their first loss in the last six rounds.

The Potters had slowly been rising in the standings after being in the bottom three relegation area during the first few weeks of the season.

Stoke City was undefeated since their loss to Crystal Palace in the middle of September. Despite the loss, the Potters remain in the13th spot of the league table, only three points above the bottom three zone.
