The latest details for "Resident Evil 7" will feature an exclusive "Steelbook" edition and the possible game length for the sequel.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding the possible game length of "Resident Evil 7" as it might take too long for gamers to finish the latest sequel to the famed survival-horror franchise.
According to MobiPicker, "Resident Evil 7" will be 20 hours long to finish as the publication hinted that it will less survival horror and gamers might get more ammo and weapons, but with more monster encounters. The publication compared "Resident Evil 7" to that of "DayZ" and "Rust" as gamers will become a pro not very long and the environment begins to suffer, even speculating that the secong haft of the sequel will be in more intricate environments to enhance the atmosphere and keep it fresh, mechanically.
"Resident Evil 7" will feature several areas besides the Baker Family house such as a forest or swamp area, a second house that was featured in the "Lantern" demo and a factory which likely houses a secret laboratory that created the Baker family and the monsters that present in the game. There is also a hint of a mastermind pulling the strings of the Baker family, serving as the real antagonist for "Resident Evil 7".
In other news, GAME UK announced an exclusive "Resident Evil 7 Steelbook Edition" for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
The latest edition will feature a exclusive steelbook cover, access to the "Survival Pack: Action Set" DLC, which includes various in-game items such as .44 Magnum ammunition and the "Madhouse Mode", PlayStation Universe reported.
Capcom previously announced the "Resident Evil 7 Collector's Edition". It features a 20th Anniversary "Resident Evil" artbook, Five limited edition lithographs with envelope and numbered, Three exclusive alternative covers, One exclusive DLC for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions, a USB Stick 16GB “3D Finger” and Model Principal House.
Strangely, it seems that "Collector's Edition" will not include the actual "Resident Evil 7" game as gamers can buy it at €99.98 (107.49 USD). But, gamers can buy the "Collector's Edition" with the actual game at €150.96 (162.30 USD) in the PC and €160.96 (173.05 USD) for the console versions.
Capcom added that a new game demo for "Resident Evil 7" called "Tape 3 Resident Evil" will be showcased next month .
"Resident Evil 7" will launch on Jan. 24, 2017 for the PS4, PS VR, Xbox One and PC platforms.
