Park Shin Hye's many philanthropic deeds have finally led to her induction into a world hunger donor's club. Meanwhile, the "Doctors" actress recently conveyed her sadness in failing to get a special Coldplay concert ticket.
The South Korean celebrity is known to be an avid music lover and has attended several concerts, as well as other live musical shows. With the upcoming Asia concert tour of the British band Coldplay, it appears that Park is also interested to see the group's live performance in Seoul on April 15, 2017.
Recently, holders of Hyundai cards were given a chance to buy Coldplay concert tickets as a special priority sales event, according to Korea Herald. Park, along with other Hyundai card users, rushed online to secure the said tickets. However, the "Doctors" star was unsuccessful in her attempts to acquire tickets for herself.
In an Instagram message, Park even conveyed her sadness and frustration in failing to get Coldplay tickets during the special sales event. Posted on Nov. 23, Wednesday, she uploaded an image of a cartoon character crying while walking away. It appears that attending Coldplay's concert in Seoul was something that the actress really wanted to do, as indicated in Park's social media post.
South Korean music fans will still have the chance to secure tickets in an upcoming sales event. However, unlike the Hyundai card special promotion, ticket sales will be open to the public.
In other news, Park's 1 million Won (nearly $85,000) donation to the Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI) was recently revealed. With the "Doctors" actress' huge contribution, the South Korean celebrity was inducted as the 36th member of the said organization's Philanthropy Club, according to Korean news outlet MK.
The "Pinocchio" star has been a part of KFHI since 2011 when she was named as the organization's representative. In a collaborative effort between the actress and many of her fans, Park even launched several humanitarian projects that included helping poor children both in South Korea and other parts of the world.
