The latest details for "Marvel Future Fight" will feature a new Marvel hero next month and the possibility of X-Men characters in the game.
Several rumors are making rounds that next storyline and characters in "Marvel Future Fight" next month. The game is currently on its "Doctor Strange" storyline were in players will explore Stephen Strange's journey from an arrogant and lost surgeon to his training as the next Sorcerer Surpreme. Characters from the "Doctor Strange" film and comics such as Baron Mordo, The Ancient One, Kaecilius, Hellstrom, Clea and Satana.
Now a new character and storyline will be added to "Marvel Future Fight" in December as Netmarble teased a photo of an unknown hero with a cape and wearing a hood. Several gamers from the game's forum website that the hooded character could be "Unworthy Thor".
Developmental Director of Netmarble Cho Doohyun told Marvel (via TheBitBag) that they will be more content to be introduce to the gamers in "Marvel Future Fight", including more amazing characters and stories from the Marvel Universe. He added that gamers will likely see Asgard as its next setting.
Another clue states, “The surroundings looks unfamiliar to us. What looks to have been grandeur and splendor, has been obliterated and replaced with ruins of a time long past.” This particular area may be the ruins of Asgard.
The Unworthy Thor character is formerly Thor Odinson who is not able to wield his hammer Mjolnir due to a mysterious message Nick Fury told the God of Thunder which left him unable to lift or use his signature weapon.
He now goes by the name Odinson as Jane Foster became the wielder of Mjolnir and took the name "Thor". Odinson wields his battle axe Jarnbjorn and his left arm is replaced by a prosthetic one made from Uru metal.
Aside from Asgard, a seperated report revealed that Netmarble will also likely release new content based from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 in which Robbie Reyes version of Ghost Rider will be part of the "Marvel Future Fight's" roster.
Thera are also rumors that ice-themed characters could be coming next month. In this update, the three skills (Laufey, Snowbird and Sasquatch) can actually make greater damage than they usually do. Plus, they could add winter-themed uniforms to make the players feel the cold season.
There is also another possibility of an X-men related Marvel Future Fight update. This is because there are several games rebooting their X-Men characters in a so-called “ResureXtion” event and comic book fans will likely see Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm and the rest of the mutants in the game.
