The latest details for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature a new Active Time Report, the official game file size and FPS issues in the PlayStation 4 Pro.
The official download file size for "Final Fantasy XV" has been revealed online as the PlayStation 4 version will be at least 50.698 with 6.593 GB required to install before users can play the first part of the game. The Xbox One version will be at 50.94 GB, GameSpot reported.
Previous reports stated that the PlayStation Store page revealed a 40.5 GB install size for "Final Fantasy XV", while the Xbox Store will have a 51.82 GB install size. Those may not be entirely accurate, as the ones found in the pre-release listings.
"Final Fantasy XV" will feature a significant day one patch, called the "Crown" update, which features a variety of updates, minor bug fixes, and new features to greatly enhance the overall story and gameplay experience.
Aside from the download size, it seems that PS4 Pro is suffering from a small frame pacing issue in "Final Fantasy XV", while panning the camera in specific areas, possibly negating the additional optimized and graphical enhancements enabled by the console itself.
YouTube username deepo uploaded a video playing "Final Fantasy XV" and noticed some noticeable camera lag in the PS4 Pro. The lag is not anywhere to be found in the same area while playing the game in the PS4 Pro's normal default PS4 mode.
Deepo noted that this small glitch seems to be isolated in the tutorial area only, so there may not be any cause for alarm.
Game director Hajime Tabata announced two patch updates for the PS4 Pro. The first update will have a framerate of 60fps while locking the resolution to 1080p, while the second update will feature a 4K resolution and keeping the 30fps framerate.
Meanwhile, a new Active Time Report was streamed online Square Enix showcased new game feature for "Final Fantasy XV" before its official launch this week.
According tor the Time Active Report, "FFXV" will feature an "Omen" trailer inspired gameplay in the main storyline and Noctis will have a drop kick attack and a new escape control.
There is also a "Wait Mode-Exclusive Ability Calls" as the game tempo has been enhanced by increasing the speed of “Libra,” which lets players check the enemy’s information. The Wait Gauge slowly decreases while in Wait Mode, but gamers can restore the gauge by defeating enemies. If they attack an enemy who is not targeting the player, a surprise attack may be triggered as successful surprise attacks tend to result in easy destruction of body parts. If they attack an enemy with little HP, they may be able to deal even greater damage.
Red Flashes may appear in the game whenever Noctis' health is in the verge of death. The is also a enemy whistle feature were in Noctis and friends will summon and fight monsters. Then there is impored motions during MP burst, Shifts outside of battle, music player, added items in gallery, game features in the Regalia and events from the "Kingsglaive" film and "Omen" trailer are added to the story, Gematsu reported.
"Final Fantasy XV" will launch on Nov. 29 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
