Kylie Jenner might find herself in legal trouble over her make-up line. A California-based make-up artist has threatened to take the reality star to court for allegedly copying her artwork to promote Kylie Cosmetics.

A make-up artist by the name of Vlada Haggerty and her professional photographer are threatening legal action against Jenner for using their concept or artwork in an ad campaign for her holiday collection, according to TMZ. One cannot help but notice that the image in question bears a striking resemblance to a photo shared by Haggerty in September.

The make-up artist's photo, shared via Instagram on Sept. 24, features a close-up shot of model Britt Rafuson and shows off her bold red lips as her shiny gold hands cover her eyes. The image, snapped by Julia Kuzmenko McKim, appeared to be quite similar to a Kylie Cosmetics' new campaign photo, shot by photographer Marcelo Cantu.

Haggerty took to Instagram to post a side-by-side comparison of both photos in order to highlight their similarities. The photo, shared with her half a million followers, has garnered more than 30,000 likes and over 7,000 comments.

Really @kyliecosmetics? Haven't you gotten enough 'inspiration' from me already? Left is a the work @juliakuzmenko, @brittrafuson and I shot a few months ago and right is @kyliecosmetics new campaign.

This is not the first time Haggerty has accused the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star of copying her ideas. In 2015, the make-up artist called out Kylie Cosmetics for stealing her image, which showed several pouty lips dripping with gold lipstick.

In an interview with Refinery29 at the time, Haggerty said that although she was excited to see her work being featured on Jenner's platform, her only complaint was that Kylie Cosmetics did not give her the credit or even reach out to her and sort things out.

"Crediting artists is essential, but this goes beyond that," Haggerty said in the interview. "It's theft; this is our livelihood... I see these things happen too many times to artists."

She added that the make-up business is an extremely competitive one and people should obtain such images or content using the proper channels and methods. For more on that story, watch the video below:
