Things have been quiet around "Avengers: Infinity War," as zero updates on filming and casting has been released by Marvel. However, a recent Twitter update suggests that the cast and crew may have already begun discreetly filming for the highly-awaited Marvel event in history.
A photographer named Atlanta Filming on Twitter posted on Nov. 19 that "Avengers: Infinity War" started filming two weeks prior. Although Joe and Anthony Russo have released photos of potential filming locations for the movie, no official word about the film has been released. The Russo brothers are directing "Avengers: Infinity War."
While little is known about the "Avengers: Infinity War" plot at this point, the Russo brothers describes the upcoming film as "a culmination of everything that's occurred in the Marvel Universe up to the point where the Marvel Universe is released."
The personal conflict that rose in "Captain America: Civil War" will bleed into "Avengers: Infinity War." For one, the strain in Iron Man and Captain America's relationship will remain when they reunite in the next Avengers. Their relationship is a most complex thing and it's still uncertain how they can move forward from it.
Speaking of Captain America, Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes' relationship will foster even more as they move forward in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Steve has finally tapped into Bucky's humanity, but his doing so came at a great cost and at the expense of the Avengers as a team. There's still a lot left to be uncovered with respect to Bucky. Will he remain good or will he stay bad?
Another relationship that's being developed in the upcoming "Avengers" film is that of Scarlet Witch and Vision.
"Certainly Scarlet Witch and Vision. It's a very compelling story," Joe Russo told /FILM. "Obviously, it's one ripped from the comics that, for many years, there was some very interesting storytelling and characters. One character is searching for how to identify with humanity, another who is on a journey away from her humanity towards becoming a very powerful being.
Meanwhile, Doctor Strange is confirmed to join the rest of the gang in "Avengers: Infinity War."
"Avengers: Infinity War" has been scheduled for an April 25, 2018 release date.
