Because of the recent proliferation of sex videos on China’s social media and video-sharing sites, the Chinese government recently initiated a crackdown. One young Chengdu woman was recently arrested by authorities for the posting of obscene videos.
The local police has actually been monitoring the 21-year-old woman from Chengdu who posted a video of two heterosexual pairs having a foursome. The viral video, titled “Chengdu Foursome,” featured two males and two females having sex with each other. When Mianzhu City police learned about the sex tape, they started investigating the woman who posted the video.
It turned out she was a webcam host named “Xue Liqiang” or “Sydney Gun,” Shanghaiist reported. She belonged to a gang with a collection of 31 lewd videos and 40,000 online fans.
She and her accomplices were arrested on May 4 upon her return to China from Dubai. Unlike a lot of women who are forced to engage in the sex trade due to poverty, Xue Liqiang was not poor since her mother and father had jobs. However, the Chengdu woman sought fame, although initially she worked as a saleswoman but later resigned.
Xue Liqiang, whose real surname is Lin, earned 75,000 yuan for posting the sex videos that 40,000 of her followers at several live-streaming platforms paid to watch. Lin herself does not star in the videos, however, at times to convince followers to pay for the lewd videos, she shows the top part of her ample bosom.
Lin is not the only online hostesses or young camgirls who use their beauty and charm to convince Chinese netizens to part with their money by offering them anything, from their bodies to expensive bags or chocolates. In the past, some of the camgirls did not sell anything but just teased streaming viewers by posting videos of them eating a banana is an erotic way to simulate oral sex that the Chinese government also banned those kinds of cam shows.
