The possibility of her mother dying soon has led to the reconciliation between Paris Jackson and Debbie Rowe. The former wife of Michael Jackson was diagnosed of breast cancer in July.
Rowe, the nurse of Michael Jackson’s dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein who married the singer after his divorce from Lisa Marie Presley in 1996, is preparing for her death. Reports said she is bracing for the worst as she loses the battle against breast cancer, Wetpaint reported.
The possibility of losing another parent – after her father died in 2009 – made the 18-year-old reconcile with her 58-year-old biological mother whom the teen has been estranged for years. In Instagram posts by Paris who is distraught at the worsening health of her mother, one photo showed the mother and daughter now very close.
In one photo posted in October, Paris is seen kissing her now-bald mother with the caption, “I’m a fighter because she’s a fighter … Love you mom.” Rowe was married to Michael Jackson for four years from 1996 until 1999.
Although she has two kids by Michael Jackson – Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. or “Prince” and Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson – the king of pop raised the two kids and a third child, Blanket, by another woman, on his own. Rowe gave to Michael Jackson full custody rights to the two children and got an $8 million settlement and a house in Beverly Hills.
After the singer’s death due to overdose of propofol, custody of the three children was given to their paternal grandparents. However, when Paris turned 18, she left her grandmother Katherine Jackson, covered her body with tattoos and lived in with Michael Snoddy, Morningnewsusa reported.
Because of Rowe’s worsening health, the Jackson family fears Rowe’s impending death could push the teen over the edge.
