Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) arrived in Los Angeles with one of his missions to escape from his father's lair. However, no one really knows why he decided to stay in the city.

In the hit FOX TV series' latest episode, Lucifer's mom Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) revealed to Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) that Chloe Decker (Lauren German) is special. Not only is she the apple of Lucifer's eyes; she also happens to be a miracle child who was sent to Earth to eventually cross paths with the lead character. This made Charlotte realize that Chloe could also be the one responsible for sending her, Amenadiel and Lucifer back to Hell.

Meanwhile, no one really knows what Chloe is at the moment. Charlotte, Lucifer, Amenadiel and Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) simply consider her special because she has the power to rule over Lucifer. While speaking with TV Line, series showrunner Ildy Modrovich said that there will be a series of flashbacks in the final four episodes of "Lucifer" Season 2.

The flashbacks are expected to reveal how Lucifer ended up in Los Angeles, what Chloe really is and more. "We have four episodes at the very end of Season 2 that are going to be completely standalone," she said. Unfortunately, viewers still have to wait until next year to see new episodes of "Lucifer" Season 2.

While the series is still on a hiatus, information on its upcoming 11th episode has already been released online. In the installment, Charlotte will try to manipulate Lucifer and Chloe to get closer to each other. Initially, Charlotte despised her son's close friendship with Chloe, but she realized that she could be their ticket to go back to Hell.

In the teaser released by FOX, Chloe could also be seen in great danger, and this doesn't only have to do with Charlotte's plan. The clip showed the character's nose bleeding profusely. By the looks of it, the bleeding may have something to do with her true identity.

"Lucifer" Season 2, episode 11 will air on FOX on Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. EST.
