While speaking with People, Ashley Benson confirmed that the ending of the hit Freeform series will be a total shocker especially for fans. As a "Pretty Little Liars" cast member, Benson is already surprised with how the entire story ended when she filmed her final scenes as Hanna Marin. The actress added that the revelation on who Uber A is will come out of nowhere which will make it even more intriguing for viewers.
However, Refinery 29 believes that the Uber A revelation would not be as shocking and exciting as how Benson claims it would be. After all, "Pretty Little Liars" is known for releasing confusing storylines. For instance, Charlotte DiLaurentis (Vanessa Ray) was revealed to be Alison's (Sasha Pieterse) secret sister. They later on claimed that Charlotte and Alison are not really sisters but cousins because the former is the daughter of Alison's mom's twin.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Uber A is actually one of the four Liars, namely, Hanna, Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario) or Emily (Shay Mitchell). Spencer, who has a split personality, can definitely be Uber A. She also happens to be the daughter of Mary Drake.
There are also rumors that Aria could be Uber A, and everything that has been happening in Rosewood for the past couple of years are actually taking place in her imagination. A similar storyline was written in the books by author Sara Shepard. On the other hand, Hanna and Emily are less likely choices for Uber A, but it either of two will be revealed to be the villain, this can become most surprising for fans.
At present, "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 is on a short hiatus. When the series returns mid next year, more information on the Liars, their respective families and partners will be unveiled.
"Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 will return to Freeform sometime in April 2017 at 8 p.m. EST.
