"Yakuza 6" release date has been announced by game developer and publisher Sega. Together with the local release update, Sega also revealed the general global release of Yakusa's seventh main entry in the game series.
According to Forbes, the follow-up of the game will be released first in Japan the 8th of this month under PS4 platform. The action-adventure game was first announced on September 15, 2015 at the Tokyo Game Show during a Sony event. Since then fans and gamers alike have been waiting for the Autumn season as it coincide with the initial general release date given by Sega.
"Yakuza 6" is a highly anticipated follow-up of the game series, for Kazuma Kiryu's return to the criminal underworld comes along with the revelation of Haruka of his former identity. For those who are not familiar with the game, the newbies will have to play the role of Kiryu as a low-level enforcer while venturing into the hearts of Tokyo, Japan.
The game's unique storyline and absorbing action adventure paved way for its local popularity. Those outside Japan wanting to have an access to the game series, they would have to wait until 2018, according to game authority VG247.
Although there is still no specific month given for "Yakuza's" 2018 global release. It would be safe to assume that the video game will probably be released on December 2018, basing it on the release patterns of the previous installments of the game and on the release of "Yakuza 5."
However, there is still no assurance on the potential arrival of "Yakuza 6" to U.S and E.U soil. Both Sega and Sony are closed lips of its exact release, guess we would just have to wait and see for further updates.
