The auto-runner trend in mobile games may well seem to be back once again as Nintendo's legendary plumber is heading onto iOS next week. Moreover, the game monikered as "Super Mario Run" will be the first in the franchise to delve into mobile devices and eventually back to selected game platforms.
According to Videogames Republic, the game will be shelled out on Dec. 15, in which, the limited version of the upcoming title can be downloaded at no extra cost. Nonetheless, its full version will be priced at $10 which is quite steep for a mobile game app.
The game will feature Mario as he automatically sprints on a predetermined obstacle-laden path. Players will then have to jump such blockades along the way by pressing onto the device's screen. The length on how the player pressed the screen will determine how long the mustachioed plumber would jump.
Apart from this, the app will also come with a bonus game dubbed as "Toad Rally" that will be more of a time attack mode similar to what can be found in the "Mario Kart" series. Also, players will have to collect coins that will be essential in buying materials and components in putting up a kingdom of their own within the game that is said to be included in another mini-game to the upcoming app, High Def Digest reported.
Meanwhile, renowned game creator Shigeru Miyamoto even released a video of himself playing the soon to be released title with just one hand pointing out how easy the game can be played.
Android, on the other hand, is said to be getting "Super Mario Run" on a latter date, though information about its release window is still undisclosed by Nintendo as of late.
