Fans may have noticed by now that the previously rumored baby Pokemon update has now come to fruition. As of the moment, miniaturized versions of Pikachu and Togetic out of the seven reported hatchlings have been spotted online. Albeit the disappointment of many fans due to the minute number of new Pokemons being dished out, There are still some who find it fair enough just to keep the excitement going.
The first two baby Pokemons that were spotted include Pichu and Togepi which are younger iterations of the abovementioned Pikachu and Togetic respectively. According to Slash Gear, both of these new mini monsters were hatched with a 5-kilometer egg. Evolution wise, the former can be evolved to a Pikachu using 25 of its candies whilst the latter will be quite steep with 50 candies.
Another discovery was the pink ball of fluff known as an Igglybuff. This 2nd generation Pokemon is quite easy to hatch as it can pop up using a 2-kilometer egg that can be evolved to a Jigglypuff provided that players have 25 candies on hand. The same thing goes with another fairy type Pokemon - Cleffa that turns into a Clefairy upon evolution.
The other three gen 2 monsters, namely Elekid, Magby, and Smoochum are quite difficult to come by as of late since it was also noted that these can only be hatched with a 10-kilometer egg, though the cost of evolving them remains at 25 candies.
Meanwhile, info surrounding another baby Pokemon dubbed as Tyrogue is quite scarce despite its promotional photos that have been making rounds. Nevertheless, Forbes suggests that the human-like Pokemon can be evolved to either a Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee and even a Hitmontop.
The new game tweak will also chip in a so-called "Holiday Pikachu" that is said to don a Santa hat that can be acquired until Dec. 29.
