Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach offered a piece of advice to fellow beauty queen and Miss International 2016 Kylie Versoza.
Versoza posted a photo of herself on Instagram with a caption hoping to find her prince charming and Pia Wurzbach funnily replied to her post.
The 2016 Miss International posted a photo from her Mega photoshoot. The caption reads, "Someday, my prince will come #koronalang #missinternational2016". To which fellow beauty queen Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach replied "Wag kang echosera. Darating din yan." (trans. Do not assume. It will come.)
Versoza previously revealed in an interview in October that she is single when asked if she is in a relationship. She said that months before the pageant, she was so focused in winning the crown that she seriously prepared for the pageant that she set her love life aside.
However, she was triumphant in her goal as she took home the crown at the pageant held in Tokyo, Japan. She added that it was the support of family and fans that kept her going when she "could not do it anymore. I had a lot of Filipinos in the audience so that gave me a lot of strength. You guys are the best support system I could have," she said.
Philippine-based entertainment website Pep previously reported that Kylie was dating Eurasian model Laurens Tolenaars. It seemed that the two broke up because of Kylie's commitment in taking home the crown.
Now that the pressure is off, Kylie is now open for a new relationship. It can be guaranteed that with her looks and brains, she will not have a hard time looking for one.
Meanwhile, Philippines failed to win the crown at the recent Miss World 2016. PH candidate Catriona Gray fell short and settled in the top five. If Philippines won, the country will have a triple crown. Filipinos are hoping for a back-to-back win at the upcoming Miss Universe 2016 beauty pageant happening in the country on Jan. 30, 2017. PH bet Maxine Medina is working hard in the competition.
