The new "Gwent: The Witcher Card Game" got a major beta update, and it gives a plethora of new cards as well as premium cards, ranked matches, and a lot more.
According to WCCFTech, the "Gwent" closed beta's patch 0.8.33 introduces some of the biggest new features to the game ever since it started months ago. Generally, the game has changed for the better, as the keyboard and the mouse controls are now unified while making it possible to sort cards based on rarity with the use of the mouse.
Also, the new update has fixed an issue where the cards sent to the graveyard still remain in the foreground as well as the crash issue that happens whenever the first card on the board is placed in the deck builder tutorial.
Polishing the game, the new update for "Gwent" improved its daily rewards system in such a way that rewards are given on rounds won rather than games won while ensuring that its interface is improved for more accessibility. Also, the rewards and feature unlocks have been added from levels 2 to the new cap level of 100. Unfortunately, players who were able to attain levels higher than 10 has been reset to start at level 10. However, the rewards for levels 2-10 has been added to the players' accounts.
Perhaps the most exciting new feature of the game, according to the list done by Dual Shockers, is the ranked play feature. The feature will allow players to rank up to 15, and for each time they climb up the rank, they will receive rewards. Also, players who work hard will be placed on the leaderboard, specifically those who qualify to be on the top 1,000.
"Gwent: The Witcher Card Game" will be released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC soon, but the patch 0.8.33 update for the beta has been added to the PC and Xbox One.
