Second-running club AS Roma (11-4-2, 35 points) is set to host middling squad AC Chievo Verona (7-6-4, 25 points) at their home field of Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Dec. 22, Thursday as the 2016-2017 Serie A season moves forward.

Roma has won four times in the last six rounds to stay within seven points of defending champions and current league leaders Juventus in the second spot of the current Italian top flight table.
