Ravens vs. Steelers Game Preview
The AFC North-leading Steelers (9-5) could clinch the division with an empathic win against their rivals. However, the Ravens (8-6) can for a tie with a victory on Sunday and head into Week 17 with a chance to steal the division.
The home team is currently the favorite to win the game because they are on an impressive run. The Steelers have won five straight games since ending their four-game slide against the Cleveland Browns. They went on to defeat the Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals during that stretch.
According to Edward Lee of The Baltimore Sun, the Ravens are at a disadvantage because Jimmy Smith, who is their best cornerback, has not practiced. He will be replaced by Shareece Wright, who is tasked to stop Antonio Brown.
However, Baltimore has a great defensive line as they go up against running back Le'Veon Bell. Outside linebackers Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil needs to keep Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger under pressure.
On the other hand, Ravens QB Joe Flacco is feeling the heat since his team is pushing for a playoff spot. Baltimore has a 3-2 record in their last five games as they lost to Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots but they were able to beat the Bengals, Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles.
