Luckily, recent reports suggest that the beloved princess of the silver screen is now in stable condition as get well soon messages came pouring in. Han Solo himself also expressed his well wishes to his Leia who is currently under intensive care.
In his recent statement to Hollywood Reporter, Ford said that he was shocked and disheartened at the same time with his friend's current ordeal. He added that his thoughts are with the actress and the rest of her loved ones.
The two had a romantic encounter during the production of the first "Star Wars" trilogy in the 1970's which was revealed in Fisher's recent book monikered "The Princess Diarist," MovieWeb noted. It is said that Ford even gave a go signal to the actress to include such info to her autobiography that is currently making quite a buzz among the faithfuls.
Apart from Ford, other Hollywood personalities have sent out their thoughts over on social media for her speedy recovery. "Star Wars" co-stars Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), and even Darth Vader himself - David Prowse have wished her well and expressed their love for the actress.
Even the people from the USS Enterprise are wishing for the princess' fast recovery. George Takei who is known for portraying Hikaru Sulu and William Shatner who took the role of Capt. James Kirk in the "Star Trek" franchise were just two of the well-wishers that are hoping that Fisher would pull through to fight for another day.
