"GTA Online" has some new, festive features released by Rockstar for the holidays. It includes a new Adversary Mode named Juggernaut as well as gifts and weather-based events.
According to Game Rant, despite the fact that most people are focusing on the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption 2," Rockstar has not given up on its other games, most of all "GTA Online." After all, the multiplayer component of the game still proves to be immensely popular among fans.
With this, Rockstar has updated the game in the heat of the holidays, giving players a chance to experience a new Adversary Mode called Juggernaut, as well as content that is festive in nature. However, the new mode is still the center of the update, as the mode will pit two teams against each other in order to kill the Juggernaut, with one player taking up the role.
The Juggernaut is pretty hard to kill, as it is equipped with heavy armor and armed to the teeth with weapons. If players from either team fail to kill the opposition's Juggernaut in a set time, the Sudden Death rules will be implemented. This will transform everyone to Juggernauts, and the first one to die will earn his team a loss.
In addition to this, Rockstar is offering double GTA cash as well as reputation when gamers participate in the Juggernaut mode until Jan. 1, 2017, according to Eastern Daily News. Also, during the weekend, "GTA Online" had some snow, and players were able to engage in snowball fights, allowing them to store up to nine snowballs at a time.
Players who logged in from Dec. 23-26 were able to receive a lot of new items as Christmas gifts. These includes a Unicorn Mask, a set of Pajamas that come in either white graphic or blue checks, Fireworks, Carbine Rifle loaded with 200 rounds of ammo and Marksman Rifle with the same amount of Ammo as well as basic Knuckle Dusters and more.
