The couple has no children together. In the court documents obtained by E! News, Benoist said she does not want either party to give spousal support.

The two dated for a year until announcing their engagement in July 2013 and in March 2015, they exchanged vows in a small and secret ceremony attended by their families, TMZ reported. They kept things quiet that fans did not even know about the private ceremony until months later.

The pair had shared photos of their amazing European honeymoon on Instagram. They occasionally posted photos of each other on social media while keeping their relationship private. After their European honeymoon, Benoist was spotted thereafter wearing a silver wedding band, notably at Comic-Con.

Benoist and Jenner first got together while shooting the final seasons of the Ryan Murphy musical show "Glee," after Jenner snagged the role of Ryder Lynn after winning Oxygen's "The Glee Project" Season 2. They were able to share the small screen together on several episodes of the Fox series as Benoist played Marley Rose from 2012 to 2014 and Jenner appeared on 39 episodes.

During their relationship, Benoist and Jenner appeared on two episodes of CW's comic adaptation "Supergirl" together, where Benoist plays the main superhero. At the time, Benoist gushed about working alongside her husband.

In September, the couple was all smiles as they traveled to the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival to support Jenner's latest project "The Edge of Seventeen." Jenner had a busy year professionally, appearing in films such as "Everybody Wants Some!!" and the horror movie "Within."

On the other hand, Benoist began appearing as "Supergirl" last year, opposite co-stars Mehcad Brooks, Chyler Leigh, and Calista Flockhart. She also appeared on shows such as "Homeland" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." She was also seen in motion pictures including "Whiplash," "The Longest Ride," "Band of Robbers," and the upcoming Mark Wahlberg's "Patriots Day."
