"Dance Moms" Season 7 recently introduced two new members to the Junior Elite team, but one of them was asked to leave two weeks later.
At present, Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes, Nia Frazier and Brynn Rumfallo still make up the team, but there are rumors that at least one of them will be axed. By the looks of it, Hilliker will not make the cut. In the previous episodes, the moms of the professional dancers have realized that Hilliker has become coach Abby Lee Miller's newest favorite since Maddie Ziegler left the reality TV show and the group.
When one of the moms noted this, Hilliker's mom, Kira Girard, did not deny their allegations. She herself thinks that her daughter is finally getting the attention that she truly deserves.
Meanwhile, the upcoming episode of "Dance Moms" Season 7 will see the young professional dancers heading to Dream Dance Challenge in California for another competition. Their winning streak will continue when they are declared as first in the teen division and overall for their group performance, "Clowning Around." According to the show's spoiler site, the contemporary routine was inspired by the 2016 clown sightings. Rumfallo took the lead in the dance number.
Unfortunately, guest dancer Camryn's solo only ranked second in the teen division. Another guest dancer, Maesi's, jazz solo didn't place in the competition. Luckily for Frazier, her "How to Get Away With Murder" contemporary dance number ranked first in the teen division and overall.
In other news, there are rumors that the Mini Elite team will introduce new members in the upcoming weeks. Earlier this season, Miller decided to only retain two of her youngest dancers, namely, Elliana Walmsley and Lilliana Ketchman.
Last week, the latter was pulled out of the routine. Miller has made it clear that she wants to only have one strong team, but since the winning streak of the juniors have stopped Miller may consider to invite new dancers to join the group. On the other hand, it is also possible that Miller will just wait until they get their luck back.
"Dance Moms" Season 7 airs Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. EST.
