"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, episode 8 is the installment that was directed by cast member Ian Somerhalder.
"We Have History Together" will see Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Somerhalder) attending an anger management support group and looking for their next victim. Since Damon has been in the dark side, he has gone on a killing spree for the past couple of episodes. Stefan, who first attempted to save his brother, has been into killing others as well.
Meanwhile, the spoiler site for "The Vampire Diaries" has confirmed that Sybil (Nathalie Kelley) is still alive. The villainous character has worked very closely with Damon throughout the first half of the hit The CW series. When the series returns next year, Sybil will be working as a teacher to a group of high school students who she will eventually use as leverage to get Caroline (Candice Accola-King) to do as she is told. Sybil will instruct Caroline to go in search for an important artifact that can be used against her.
In other news, Stefan and Damon will continue their allegiance to Cade (Wole Parks). Matt (Zach Roerig) and a young doctor named Tara will also make an appearance in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, episode 8.
Elsewhere, it has not been confirmed yet when Nina Dobrev will return to "The Vampire Diaries" to reprise her role as Elena Gilbert. Dobrev exited the series at the end of Season 6. She was featured in the finale episode for Season 7, but only her voice was heard in the scene that was primarily focused on Damon.
If Dobrev's return has not been confirmed yet, executive producer Julie Plec already announced that Caroline and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will once again reunite in the upcoming episodes of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. However, details about their reunion are still being kept under wraps. There are also rumors suggesting that Caroline and Stefan will eventually part ways, and the former will end up with Klaus.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
